Your Questions, Answered

Your first session at In Health - Byron Bay Psychology is a chance to meet your psychologist and begin to feel comfortable in the space. There's no pressure to share everything at once. Your psychologist will gently explore what's brought you in, your background, and what you're hoping to get from therapy. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether the fit feels right.
Our consulting rooms are purpose-built for therapy — private, soundproof, and designed to help you feel safe and held from the moment you arrive. Most people leave their first session feeling heard and a little lighter.
Sessions are 50 minutes, held within the Habitat Byron Bay precinct. -
No referral is needed to book an appointment. However, if you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year, which significantly reduces the out-of-pocket cost. We recommend speaking with your GP before your first appointment if you'd like to access Medicare rebates. We also accept private health insurance.

NDIS and WorkCover funding are also accepted for eligible clients. We also accept private health insurance. Contact us to discuss your funding options.
